Hello all!
I'm currently running a 5e game for my husband, just he and I. I have a wizard GMPC that runs with him to round out everything but that's all for Pc's in the game. Recently his character, a dragonborn Paladin of Bahamut and his in game girlfriend npc have gone off the the Feywild for a bit if a vacation.
Being as the Npc isn't a combat character in the least i have been throwing diversions at him with a lot of new Npcs to interact with, noncombat of course. He does plan to visit an archfey that he assisted previously as a sort of diplomatic visit but i want the Feywild to offer some more distractions. The problem is i want these distractions to at least use the mechanics somewhat. All the previous o especially have been Charisma based and I'm getting bored with that. I want to throw some curveballs at him in the form of different noncombat encounters and I need some ideas.
Just as an aside it will be eventually revealed the his Npc girlfriend is actually a changeling that is an illegitimate child of a high ranking seelie and unseelie archfey that was hidden away. So if you can work hints to that in that would be cool as well.
Thanks!

If you want cool mechanics about interacting with fey courts, I recommend 'Courts of the Shadow Fey'. It's for 4e, and the court in question resides in the Shadowfell rather than the Feywild, but it's still a great adventure and have a lot of useful stuff to pick and chose (including rules for your status in the court). It's actually one of the most atmospheric and fun adventure modules I've read for any system. :-) (I think the authors have plans to convert it into 5e in the near future.)

That looks very promising. Thank you I will definitely look into that.
