TBH, I've never actually used most of the functions in Roll20 in Hangouts. The biggest obstacle I see going forward is that, from what I can see, nobody will be able to activate *any* app within Hangouts post-API-shutdown, which means dice-rollers (the main function I'm worried about).

It's the main way people have recorded games too - now if only roll20 can get their shit together and allow us to enter stream keys.......
OBS works - but the main issue is that you're only seeing a single person's desktop. That could be a problem if it's the GM and they are paging through GM-only notes and stuff through the interface.
It can be skinned well, but it requires a level of babying that I am not sure I am ready for, especially as I only have a single monitor.

I have multi-monitors, and used camera tricks to focus on Photoshop to present maps and things.
