Listened to the session on the Youtubes and had some notes:
Example: Bill's turn comes up and he declares that he wants to shoot a guy in the knee, push him to the ground, and stab the guy with his sword. That is three actions (Called shot to the knee + Push maneuver + Fighting attack) and would roll all the rolls at -4. Assuming Bill succeeded with the shot to the guy's knee and the push maneuver but missed on the sword attack he can Split the Seconds to get another sword attack without the Multi-Action Penalty and without spending a bennie.
That is all. See you in a month!
- Multi-Actions: Bill's "Sword + Punch" attack would have been another example of Multi-Action and would get the Multi-Action penalty. He's correct that he can't attack with the same weapon twice, but with his Split the Seconds he breaks that rule. However, if Bill wanted to swing his sword and punch a guy all in one turn without Split the Seconds he would have to declare all those actions up front and roll all of them with the Multi-Action penalty.

- Why Bill's "Unaware Bonus" might not be "The Drop" (Pg.72): As was mentioned in game, generally if the foe knows the enemy is there they know they should be cautious, thus not The Drop. But the core book does say the GM is the only person who can determine when The Drop comes into effect so it can still happen in combat.
- Sam's Breath Weapon does use Shooting: Per the Tomorrow Legion Book Pg 46 Sam can fire bolts of flame that do 4d6(MD) or a cone for 2d10(MD), both attacks still require rolling Shooting. So yeah, all her breath attacks this last game should have been rolled. It's easy to miss, there's a lot of stuff going on with the Dragon template.
- Trait Rolls: All rolls are Trait Rolls.
When it comes to Extra Effort if you bennie the roll you re-roll the Extra Effort too.Edit: Per the Player's Guide, if you Extra Effort and still roll poorly you have a choice: Keep the roll with the Extra Effort or spend a benny to reroll the dice without the Extra Effort die.
- Who's the boss: EVERYONE KNOWS ANGELA IS THE BOSS!
- Coup De Gras rules: Enemy has no weapon and defenseless? No need to roll damage, he's just dead. Because rolling a two on damage when trying to cut a guy's head off is why we invented the guillotine...
- Benny Rerolls: Not that it mattered in this session, but when rerolling with bennies you always keep the highest roll you've rolled so far. So if someone rolled a 7 on Shooting and wanted to benny the roll to try and get the raise they would still have that 7 even if they rolled lower on the new roll.
That is all. See you in a month!
