Anyone able to give a good site or program that has a name generator for npc's and their alias's specifically for the type of game shadowrun is. I've heard a few times on the shows about name generators and that one or two might have sci-fi 'ish names or makeups to them. Thanks !
Btw... npc for this game would be regular folk, corporate folk, personal contacts for the PC's. Alias are the names shadowrunners go by as their street name. Stu Venable is the name the street samurai was born with , but goes by the handle "Gamemaster" or "GM" for short. as an example

There's an Iphone app for that as well. Look for "GM tools". (Not so good names but it has a diceroller and a place name generator as well) or "Names for RPG" it has a language/race option like Japanese, orc or elven names. That helps me when GMing and needing to come up with a name quick.

Most cyberpunk novels use a organic/electronic method, Japanese or agent names(think Wintermute, Hiro, Mr. Renquiet.) or you can use handles(neo, LoJack, etc.) or use a name that describes a character(street samurai named slicer, decker named hardware etc). Channel your Inner Gibson, Stevenson, etc.
