There's a lot in that, to be fair. Book, screen, characters, dice, tokens, chips, cards.... You can get most everything digitally for $30, and $50 will bump you up to get all the old books in PDF as well as anything that unlocks with a digital reward.
Preferred Game Systems: Fate, L5R, Pendragon, Gumshoe, Feng Shui Currently Playing: Pendragon, Song of Ice and Fire, L5R, Feng Shui, Traveller Currently Running: Fate, Coriolis, Nights Black Agents Favorite Species of Monkey: 1970's NTV, dubbed by the BBC (though The Water Margin beats it)
I sort of "feared" this after the success of the Invisible Sun KS. Another similar set that's being teased is the Borg Cube edition of the forthcoming Star Trek RPG. And you know, there IS demand for this, even I've kicked in on custom dice add-ons etc. And is was VERY tempted by the Deluxe version of Unknown Armies, even though that didn't represent as much value as this. So I say "feared" in air quotes because I'm not sure it's a bad thing.
I think we'll be seeing more and more KS launches making the "deluxe" package the norm.
Post GenCon update from Torg. There's some really interesting things in here.
17 Back from GenCon Posted by Darrell Hayhurst (Collaborator)
Hi everyone, we're all back from the big show and settling down to work again. I'll be traveling again next Friday but I should still be able to post an update, or Eric may step in and post if I can't. GameOn Update
You have one week left to finalize your order with the Game On Tabletop pledge management store! We have a couple of you that we are working with directly on special circumstances, but we believe we have resolved most of the other questions that have come up. In particular, Game On added APO and FPO addresses to the shipping list just before Gen Con, so you should be able to finish your order if your shipping address is APO/FPO.
If you still have questions, please email Eric directly as soon as possible (see previous updates for his address). The deadline is the end of the day on August 31st. GenCon Report
We had a great show! Lots of people came by to both booths to chat and ask questions. If we got a chance to meet, thank you! Everyone's comments were very positive, and I was happy to talk about why we made some of the choices we did or hint at where we're headed. It was great this year to have something really solid to talk about.
We had a limited number of the new dice at the show, and pictures don't really do them justice. I had several people comment that after opening them up and playing with them they really started looking at the depth of the dice, thanks to a thin transparent layer that separates the red and blue. You can't see as well in an image or even through the clear packaging. We also had T-shirts this time around, but there are no plans to do anything with those outside of conventions, sorry!
Our seminar is online at www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQSVSANqZVg&feature=youtu.be. The biggest announcement was the Living Land, which will Kickstart after we've shipped out everything for this one. We have Ross Watson on the sourcebook and the inimitable Shane Hensley doing an epic campaign that takes the Storm Knights all across the Living Land. I also had a fantastic time running our Delphi Council backer game. Their choices (and the compiled choices of everyone who played the adventure at GenCon) have affected the Living Land books...and the Akashans! We've got a pretty fun video of that game that should go up before the next update, and hopefully everyone enjoyed the live texts (@nearnewnews) that Dean did during the game itself! Production Update
The final pieces are coming together for the Delphi Missions book. We've got the illustrations in, and just a few maps and proofing left to go. I don't think it'll quite be ready to go out next week, but it looks great for the week after that.
There are a few issues cropping up on the physical printing side. The counters ended up pretty flat and boring, so we're taking another pass at those so they'll be something really worth having. We're also wrestling with a better format for the Table Tent. They work fine just printed and folded, but we're looking to do something a little more hardy than that. We also redesigned the Drama Deck box to be sturdier and have a flip-top, which should make it a lot more practical. We're behind on the character journal designs, and trying to get more resources on that and catch up. Unfortunately, the scaling on the miniatures hasn't been resolved yet.
I promised if anything put our release plan in jeopardy I'd say something, so now I'm saying something. If everything above works out we're still in good shape. If any of the items above need more work it'll mean an overall delay, because we assemble everything in one place and then ship the boxes. With every update I'll say what our progress is on those items and whether we're on track or something slipped.
Thanks for your continued support everyone!

Looked over the living land preview and have to say I don't like how they're pitching it, $40 minimum for the digital files. I get that that includes multiple bits and pieces but why no backer level just for the sourcebook?
Gillsing: Interesting fact about a movie that put me to sleep the first two times I tried to watch it at RPG cons. The third time I managed to stay awake, and was disappointed. Everyone seemed to like it so much. But apparently it was not for me. Story of my life.
