Kimi... Umbrella the Cyber-knight has a lot of abilities you don't seem to be making use of. She has psionic powers she could be using to bolster her attacks and defenses. As a cyber-knight, she starts with Psionics d6 and 3 powers, among which are powers like bolt and boost trait and smite and the like. She's more than just armor and a flaming psi-sword. Some of the powers she can even use on herself as a free action, meaning you can activate such a power and still act without a multi-action penalty. Also, in the battle with the undead thingy (I know what it was but won't spoil it!), Amygdala also has the Champion ability, which is sort of like Turn Undead for Savage Worlds. As an action, she can force an undead to make a Spirit check or be Shaken. If the undead fails badly enough, it takes a wound. Champion is an Edge in the SW core book. You could have been doing Champion as an action and still attack with the psi-sword at a -2 multi-action penalty. Or cast one of the free-action Psionic powers, use Champion on the Undead to try to get it Shaken as an action, and then attack the Undead at -2, all in one round! Cyber-knights are the paladins of Rifts, and have all sorts of nifty abilities! Just advice and friendly FYI!

When Lambert had to switch to his sword, I was reminded of a 3rd-hand army story I once heard. During bayonet training, the instructor tells our protagonist, "To more easily extract your bayonet, you can fire a round into your target."
"I can't do that, sir!"
"Sure you can. You just have to pull the trigger!"
"No, sir!"
"Then, why not?"
"If I've got my bayonet in someone, I'm out of bullets."

Since I'm helping out with rules calls stuff, I fell a responsibility to own up to my mistakes. I was wrong here. Cyber-knights DO get the Champion edge for free, but the edge I described up there is actually the Holy Warrior edge. Completely different. I got them confused. The Champion edge is more like a d20 paladin's "smite evil" ability. It gives them a +2 to damage supernaturally evil creatures, and a +2 to Toughness when resisting the attacks of supernatural evil.
