He wrote the script for the game app. AFAIK that's all he's written for nuWW?

I think that's right, he is listed on the creative team for V5, but his name isn't on the play test material.

I'm actually pretty interested in this iteration of the game. I think that feeding and its consequences often got hand waived in games. The result was often fang-superheroes. Heck, herd was basically designed to hand waive feeding. Agreed Agreed, and yes you have that spelled right. Agreed (I‘d said I wasn't going to return to this topic, but your post deserves more than a simple like.)

I made my way through most of the GenCon panel:
-They've returned to 9 attributes after player feedback, though they aren't sure which ones yet.
-The new edition is viewed as a "Dr. Who-style" reboot, updating the feel of the game for modern times but bridging it back to the old editions.
-Beckett's Jyhad Diary is meant to be a way for readers for get up to speed on the current metaplot, featuring a large number of familiar world NPC's.
-Many of the lore books are being designed for use in any edition, and their design intent is for old materials to be usable with minimal adaptation.
...there's more, but that's it for now.
