The problem with blocking people is that you get people who aren't blocked quoting the people you've blocked, then having a back and forth with that person filling up the entire thread. Then other people adding into that conversation and then all of a sudden you're in a thread where you must interact with that person to be part of the conversation. You could just not interact at all in that case but then why bother having a forum account at that point.

Aaron PS: the problem with Wil Wheaton is Wesley Crusher - I so fucking hated that character in ST-TNG, almost as badly as I hated Scrappy Doo.

The sad truth about Wil Wheaton is that he's human, and sometimes humans fall short of their own standards for themselves and others.

In the name of the Gawd of Useless Information, Wesley was the Marty Stu of Gene Roddenberry. Hence why he got to save the day all the time, and that generally TNG got better once Roddenberry took his hands off. #MyOpinion #RikersBeard

As another random aside, I find forum etiquette, especially as was pointed out people leaving and people joining/decloaking, is a lot like Reservoir Dogs:
Mr. Pink: Why can't we pick our own colors? Joe: No way, no way. Tried it once, doesn't work. You got four guys all fighting over who's gonna be Mr. Black, but they don't know each other, so nobody wants to back down. No way. I pick. You're Mr. Pink. Be thankful you're not Mr. Yellow.

Except whenever I see Wil all I see is Wesley grown up and the horror of that character returns to mind ... he won't let me forget ... then I start remembering other dumb Roddenberry TNG stuff: Ship social worker? - fine, ship social worker on the command deck and able to assume command during a military action? - WTF!!!! the ships doctor isn't even allowed to that (can relieve the Capt. of command but not assume command) not to mention "I sense the crew are afraid Capt." - no shit there's a fuck off big space bug threatening to eat the ship outside the observation deck, unless it's the Amsterdam Bar yeah, fear and shitting one's self in terror is kind of a given (especially if you are wearing a red shirt) /rant_over Aaron

I got to play Disney Princess Masks, and ran World Wide Wrestling Comic Wrestling Alliance! Catwoman vs a Deadman possessed Batman in a marriage vs mask match! Annihlus transported the entire arena to the Negative Zone!
