I've searched the forum three ways to Sunday and can't find this answered on here. I recall you said something about it in a prior show, but I don't remember when or what was said. So instead of looking, I figured I'd just re-ask the question here;
What is the software and studio hardware setup for your live play shows?
I ask because I have one coming up in a couple of weeks and I need to try and get my ducks in a row. I have a couple of older cameras that might work, I need to set them up and see what quality picture they produce. My microphone is a pretty good one, I've used it before on my online games and videos and there's been no complaints. I have a gamer laptop and access to "Higher speed" internet than the public freebies at the game shop I'll be running the game at.
I want to be able to do the split screen set up like you do, show three sides of the table at once. I'll have eight players and myself, and I want to start the live stream a little early so I can plug the game store we're playing in and offer my thanks to the gawd's of douche and a few others that have helped me up my game.
I've always liked Happy Jacks RPG live play's, and yeah, I know what I'm doing is basically running a Con game live on my YouTube channel, which is asking for trouble. Especially since it's limited to a two hour game. (They sometimes let the games run a little over time, and they might for this one too since it's also plugging them) But it's got a really fun set up and I've played with and GM'ed for most of the folks in this one, so I'm willing to throw myself under that bus...
Anyway, it might make for a fun game and I want it recorded for me, even if no one else watches. Here's the set up as it stands right now;
