I'm mostly asking because I have a bunch of the older setting books plus things like Liege, Lord, and Lackey that I honestly don't have the space for and also I have pdfs of now. Figured I'd send them Stu's way

I will be sad to see the end of Mote, but I am surprised Stu managed to stick with it this long. I do hope that Vampire (or one of it's kindred (see what I did there?)) returns eventually. I also hope MAC and Jessie show up somewhere in a game on the Happy Jacks channel. If they start a midweek game we might even see Probie Tim again. ( is that good or bad?) I ain't going anywhere, nor is Jessie. In fact, I'm going to be GMing a new game that Jessie is a part of.

Wow... You neglect the forums for a mere five weeks and you miss so much! Yes, I will be running a Vampire: The Dark Ages game for Actual Play. I can tell you this much so far: - Stu and my wife Maire will be two of the players. I am not divulging at this time how many other players there are, nor who they are, but I know.
- The game will be set in 1242 CE.
- I will be taking certain liberties with canon (both White-Wolf meta-plot and actual history), so don't expect exactly what you read in the books.

You put your foot down now Curt. You don't need no forums dictating how you're going to run the game. *triple snaps* I'm excited to see how this game differs from mote.

[/i][/ul][/quote] A GM after my own heart. Games are no fun if you don't take certain liberties for yourself to make the game more fun and interesting for all involved.

What regional area? Are we watching Vampires deal with the Golden Horde? Or is this more Spain taking over parts of Portugal?

Since the PLAYERS haven't been told this information yet, nor have we even had a character creation session or discussion yet, I am choosing to not delve into any further details at this time; especially since some aspects of my plans for the game might change after characters are created, I don't want to commit to too many specifics just yet. We still have at least two months before this game starts.

What books do you have for VDA? Asking for...reasons. We are primarily working from the 20th Anniversary edition of Vampire: the Dark Ages, also allowing references to Lore of the Clans, Lore of the Bloodlines, Rites of the Blood, and pulling somewhat from V20 Dark Ages Tome of Secrets. Of course, I'm pulling cues, mostly subconsciously, from supplements of previous editions.

The more informational ones than mechanical. I'm looking at getting rid of some of them as I need the space and I have everything on PDF now. If you're interested I can see what I can scrounge up and Mail to Stu. I did recently send him some books through Drivethrurpg but they're taking forever to get there which is pissing me off since I just had a package leave from here in Alaska get to Georgia, be refused for delivery, and then make it back to me in a week and a half yet supposedly the books from Drivethrurpg were sent out at the beginning of September.

I'm sure I can convince my librarian, gamer wife to allow me to take possession of more gaming books. If any are duplicates of what we already have, I can offer them up to others in the local community.
