It's the Internet and sometimes people read the wrong "tone" in a text, they interpret how you are saying things the wrong way. My native language is swedish and I have the same problem sometimes. I understand that you are passionate about this subject but in this case you come across as rude not helpful. Hugs and kisses buddy :-) Yes, but the could interpret in a right way. I never assume first the person is bad. Why do they? Are they surrounded by bad people all the time to think like that or what? This is scary

This is scary It's just a Internet thing, if someone misinterpret comment and and answer to the perceived tone other people are likely to continue to misinterpret anything you say. Just try to make extra sure to be polite and clear and it will hopefully go better in the future.

Look folks, I'm not assuming anyone is "bad". I just feel, as the person running this game, that weighing in here about this subject is appropriate. I also wanted to clarify my game running style and the expectations that I'm setting. I appreciate the passion, believe me, and you should in return know where my passion lies as a GM.

This is scary I don't know where your obsession with this whole psychology and psychoanalysis thing comes from, but maybe you should follow your own advice on this one.

OK, here's my thing, you and I have had our run ins in the past over this issue. Now three other people are telling you the same thing I told you. One thing I've learned in my 39 years on this planet is that intentions rarely matter. As the saying goes "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Your intention may have been to give the players options, but in reality it was seen as a way of dictating to them how to play the game. There is no psychoanalyzing here, there is no immediate view of you being "bad", there is only the view of your posts. Many of your posts and comments in the Twitch chat have an air of superiority to them, a feeling that you are dictating how the game is played. This is something we're telling you, because you are a member of this community. If you weren't a jacker, likely people would have blocked you or told you to go screw yourself or something similar. We didn't do that, we pointed out the tone of your posts so that you could review them and see what we are saying. Instead of doing that however, you decided to get offended and angry. This is, of course, your right. I would implore you though to realize that this community of Happy Jacks is unlike most. We rarely, if ever, flame someone out of anger. Its usually either passionate discourse or, in the case of this situation, a desire to reach our and help someone realize how their posts are being perceived.
You didn't intend to make it seem like you were telling them how to play the game, that's absolutely fantastic I'm glad to hear that, but that's how it was perceived by many people. I am begging you to step back for a minute and look at what you've posted from a different light. You say that it is a language barrier issue, but I don't think it is at all. I honestly believe its just the glut of information you provided. Its overwhelming at best. Listen, I like you man, I do. I just think you really go too far sometimes. Think about that.

["... you decided to get offended and angry." ] Not, angry. See, again! Please, stop believing you have any skill in psychology. YOU believe I'm angry. It's is a belief that YOU have. YOU have DECIDED that about me. I didn't. It is from YOUR imagination. I'm not the one who posted something like that: "I don't know how you guys do it man, I really don't. I mean I'm not even playing and seeing like 10 posts about what you're doing wrong makes me want to go jump off a bridge. " I never posted in my life something so extreme, sorry I'm taking the advice of others but not you. You being very mean. You are not the type of person who should give advice on that subject. You are mainly the one who amplified of the problem instead of simply asking if I meant this or that. The post was supposed to be about some advice for character creation for the players and now I must defend myself just because of some people who automatically think first badly and think there is some bad agenda behind it

"Your intention may have been to give the players options, but in reality it was seen as a way of dictating to them how to play the game " Aren't they adults. Can't they decide for themselves? Why is it your job to decide what distract them or not from the game? Why do you intervene? Which research can you cite that prove this post will distract them to play the game? What are you talking about? Do you realize this is all in your imagination? There is no issue at all about this post.

Okay, friends, I think we're done here. My players are going to be working with me on their characters. The end. Nothing to argue over.

Perhaps living in the Wild West? ^.- Except for the one player who is going to make a werewolf hunting ninja. That'd be totally awesome! (DAMMIT! Talk like a pirate day!): Exceptin' fer that one skallywag what want's to hunt the flea-ridden wolf-men; an' maybe 'e can be from China or Japan an' use that fancy fightin'.
