You seem to be the misunderstood one in the group. Is there anything you'd like to let people know, so that they may understand you a little better. I do want to say Mac, that when you dropped Asa nature during Kindred One session 0, it made everything much clearer. i also applaud for keeping that from the one person who would benefit the most from knowing that, Stork. Not to knock his RP chops, but I don't think he would have been able to keep himself from metagaming after that. It did look like he wanted to help Asa, but was trying to treat her as a "survivor". I believe he even said it many times, but he would have known that your nature was, child?, he probably would have changed his approach without even thinking about. Bravo to you. Like, what would Asa want to tell the others so they know her better? Or are you asking if I have knowledge to drop here as a player that I haven't already stated? I do admit curiosity at how Albert may have treated Asa with that knowledge. She has asked him for help and made it clear she felt like he wasn't doing all he promised for her, but he's so gruff with her about it. He thinks Asa is a younger clone of himself, but she really isn't at her core.

Stork has a tendency to latch onto things and run with them until someone finally pries them from his fingers. He's doing it right now with Asa and the "Gangrel" label. "She's a Gangrel so that obviously means X and Y." Not realizing that just because you're the same clan doesn't mean you're the same people. I mean a clan only defines you so far, the rest is who YOU are. Asa is most certainly not Albert, not by a long shot. But in his mind you're the same purely because you're both Gangrel. How do you think Asa could approach that to finally wrest him away from his "she's a Gangrel" safety blanket?
He's also doing it with "Sabbat". Since he learned about Sabbat, EVERYTHING that he's not used to MUST be Sabbat. Layla, the plague, anyone new to the island, damn near everything. Wait there's Fae on the island? Damn Sabbat! There's an antediluvian? Grr I hate the Sabbat! Layla has done nothing but help us, JUST like a Sabbat would!

You know, it's too bad Skully didn't become Asa's daddy. Right Probie Tim?

I remember listening to an early AP (I want to say L5R) where Stu gave them some fact, figuratively spelling out exactly what was going on, and Stork immediately latched onto the exact opposite and was off like a hound. I likewise remember posting on the forums how Stu didn't need to prep much, since Stork was going to misinterpret pretty much every plot point and make up the story for Stu. ^.^

I think the only thing that is going to break him away from the Gangrel blanket statement would be if she were to break down and start crying or something. Like, a real crack in her shell for the remaining humanity to come spilling out.

Possibly reminding them that she's not a child and having that really sink in within their minds. She has childish ways, and her Nature is Child, but she was a fully grown adult when she was Embraced. She had a life and a job and an apartment, yet here she is being treated like she is an idiot. Needing guardianship and a teacher is not the same as being some dumdum who doesn't know anything.

Does Asa have any plans besides surviving and maybe going after her Sire?

Does Asa have any plans besides surviving and maybe going after her Sire? She wants a place to belong. I don't think she 100% understand that for herself, but it's the core drive nonetheless. I think that's sinking in a lot more now that she's had contact with the werewolves and have seen how tight knit that unit is.

Asa returns to the crazy tonight. After catching up on the last ep I don't think I've ever been so stressed about playing in Mote.
