So is the Antediluvian one from the fluff or one that you've created? I came up with my own antedelluvian.

Will you try to steer the game towards a climactic end for the last session(s), or allow the game to play out however it may, even if it'll end "in medias res"?

Good question!
I have some stuff planned with vampire hunters (I think I sufficiently foreshadowed that), including one who is a seasoned hunter, with all the tricks.
I also have some stuff planned for Ezra, Esmerelda's missing brother, with him attaining Glaconda. I'm particularly excited to see how that shakes out.
Mac has figured out who her sire is. He's on the island. We haven't discussed if Asa knows this or not.
I also have stuff planned with the antedelluvian, and it's pretty tragic; however, the players are SO scared of the antedelluvian, I don't think they'll pursue that plot line.
Then there's Layla's plot. It's already happening. Unfortunately Kimi missed the last two sessions, so I couldn't develop it much. But I'm going under the assumption that that stuff happened, but the party was too concerned with the plague to deal with it.
HOW things will end? I have no idea. I'm only one storyteller of six.
So tl/dr, things will end the way they end. There will be perils of final death, a hope for salvation, and a scared little girl who happens to be an antedelluvian. What will the players do with it? I have absolutely no idea. But I'm excited to find out!

Which clan is the antediluvian the founder of?
Also, little girl! Nice touch! Nothing scarier than a little girl in an incongruous place. Make sure to describe her as unbearably cute and adorable, and totally harmless looking. I would LOVE to see the players deal with that lovely situation.

In their defense, I would be as well. Ancient blood gods prophesied to herald the end of the world isn't the best reputation to lead with. Plus the whole Week of Nightmares thing was not good publicity. Which clan is the antediluvian the founder of? Also, little girl! Nice touch! Nothing scarier than a little girl in an incongruous place. Make sure to describe her as unbearably cute and adorable, and totally harmless looking. I would LOVE to see the players deal with that lovely situation. Could always be one of the ones that followed Lilith. There were like six of them. I can only remember slightly angrier gangrel-esque dude at the moment.

I mentioned this elsewhere. I remember in an early AP, you made some statement about whatever setting/adventure you were running, and Stork decided that it meant the exact opposite of whatever it was you said and ran with it....
What was your favourite player misinterpretation in Mote?

What was your favourite player misinterpretation in Mote? I have problems remembering that kind of stuff. I do remember saying, at least once, "no, what I said is exactly the opposite of what you think I said." Or something like that.

I listened to the last episode and am so disappointed they managed to stop Albert. I would so very much have known about the Antediluvian!
Talking about Albert. Having read the Asa Q&A thread I realize there are two characters in this game that are real problem child. Albert is too much of a loner, with all those problems and Asa is so angry and instinctive she almost never finished a conversation without screaming. Both of those are really characters I would never had allowed in my game. They have created drama, and Stork knows full well he can not play up the loner thing too strong, but I must admit Asa drives me up the wall! They both play their characters well, but the fighting is grating upon me.

Yes. They're both challenging characters. I blame White Wolf for coming up with a loner clan to begin with...
I don't really subscribe to the philosophy that an RPG party should behave as a well-oiled machine. The conflict and strife between PCs can be part of the story.
Not to everyone's taste, but it seems more real to me.

Oh, I totally agree! It definitely feels real. A well oiled machine is suitable for some games, but not something as character driven as Vampire. But, angsty kids drive me nuts, so Asa is not my favourite character. But a loner clan, yeah that's just a bad idea!

A whole clan of monkey wrenches. Or would that be a hole clan?
