RIP Spider-Man's wedding...
My favorite trope is in the movies when the person affected by lycanthropy starts seeing the world in a totally different way, like there are things they never noticed or took for granted. I think this is perfectly done with the Umbra in Werewolf. One step sideways and you can see with your own eyes what's going on under the skin of a place that might look totally innocent.

I recently saw American Werewolf in London again and I have to attest that it hold up really well. Yes, the practical werewolf is a little stiff, but it's still as horrifying as I remember it. The sheer physical presence of it gives it a gravitas that no CGI can touch.
Gillsing: Interesting fact about a movie that put me to sleep the first two times I tried to watch it at RPG cons. The third time I managed to stay awake, and was disappointed. Everyone seemed to like it so much. But apparently it was not for me. Story of my life.
