As mentioned in the game last night, Garou have their own set of tenets (much like vampires). For those what are interested, the Litany is as follows: - Garou Shall Not Mate With Garou
- Combat the Wyrm Wherever it Dwells and Whenever it Breeds
- Respect the Territory of Another
- Accept an Honorable Surrender
- Submission to Those of Higher Station
- Respect Those of Lower Station, for all are of Gaia.
- The First Share of the Kill for Greatest in Station
- Ye Shall Not Eat the Flesh of Humans
- The Veil Shall Not Be Lifted
- Do Not Suffer Thy People to Tend Thy Sickness
- The Leader May Be Challenged At Any Time During Peace
- The Leader May Not Be Challenged During Wartime
- Ye Shall Take No Action That Causes a Caern to Be Violated

Dammit, I understood the litany except for the first, so naturally I had to Google it, ended up on a wiki, read about Metis, that led to checking out links of the thirteen tribes, and on, and on... it was difficult pulling myself out of the quicksand. Sounds fun!

Now if you want to have a super challenging RP character, play a Metis. You're shunned by your own kind, accepted by few, and stupid alluring to the agents of the Wyrm. It's a super hard character to play and not end up writing off because of obvious character choices. It'll be interesting to see how Jessie does with her character.

Yeah, I went back and edited after rereading it. Wasn't trying to sound like she couldn't do it or it was some kind of mistake. Metis characters are always memorable.

Also, metis character can outweigh their social stigma with their Wisdom, Honor and Glory "score"
for example Sigrun would care more about Glory status that metis status Chen would care more about Wisdom status and Charlie care about any high renown status due to Fianna
Just like any person with any social stigma they can work hard to shine more and become History.

Whaaaat it's my first post here!
It's interesting because, canonically, the Fianna are the most likely to have Metis children and the most likely to despise Metis as a whole.
It's something interesting to explore for sure, but as this is my first time on Happy Jack's (and meeting two of the players) I decided to lean into Charlie's whole "Affable Goofball"-ness with his packmate being a Metis with albinism.

I'm taking a kind of Taoist philosophy with Chen regarding his relationship with Jeremiah. You are what you are, not what I may want you to be. Expecting a peach to be a plum is a special kind of stupid. I know we'll explore how we trust each other, but Chen would not be one to point out the failings of another that they had no say in (Metis birth).
