Honestly, going Crinos and losing your clothes is kinda like a nuclear option to a super serious situation, or at least that's how I've run that. If you have to go Crinos it's because shit just got super real and a Wyrm creature just popped up that is wrecking things. So, yeah, your clothes will get shredded.
We did ultimately do the rite of talisman dedication as an opening initiation but half the party decided against doing the dedication because it didn't align with their character. So it's out there, but being naked in werewolf isn't a huge deal, it just becomes a roleplaying challenge after a tough fight.

To me that's half the battle of being a werewolf. Like Hulk dealing with his pants shredding up. I'm also a fan of werewolf transformation, so if people wanna go Crinos, I ain't gonna stop them.

Oh no, I wouldn't stop anyone from going Crinos. People just going full werewolf causes so many fun and difficult situations it's almost hard not to prod players into doing it when it would not benefit them.
In my first game I went Crinos in a basement full of vampires and couldn't stand up fully. But my character knew capoeira so he could still fight but still in a limited fashion. Another player went Crinos in the middle of a gun fight involving humans forgetting what happens to humans when they see something that insane happen all of a sudden. It's a bitter sweet ability and I love it.

There a limit (gnosis) of items you can have dedicated unless they are fetishes. The book suggests, a set of normal clothing count as 1 but if they are armored they count individually except boots and gloves as a pair and each weapon as 1 Also, bags (pockets) do not work for weapons and some devices. This is a fetish
