Heard there was some chatter last night about Thanksgiving in 1874. I did some research and it was in fact a national holiday at that time. However, pre-1941 it was celebrated on the last Thursday of November making it the 27th in our game continuity. I also realized not everyone was able to see the mystery symbol from last night, so I'm putting it here for all to see. Eagle-eyed viewers may recognize that it's a slight variant of what is in the books. I did some editing to it personally to make it look less, well, swastika-esque.

A good way to explain missing players is for them to go for a personal quest in the middle Umbra for gifts or other research. All werewolf can step sideways

Reading through chat for the game, because I do care what y'all think, and wanted to confirm that Rite of Talisman should have been a different roll and I'll likely let Steven attempt again with the correct dice. The way the book is laid out, I skipped directly to the rite and some of them have more clarity in the System section and some do not. This one in particular contradicts the noted 7 for Mystic rolls.

StrangeLikeThatMaybe you could introduce Partial Transformation for the next game for all those perception rolls Partial transformation requires the expenditure of a WIllpower point and success on a Dexterity + Primal-Urge roll (difficulty 9). The number of success equal the step between the starting stage to the form you acquire the ability from. Homid gaining Lupus sense of smell (and doggy nose) need 4 successes. Quite fun and a way for them to waste their willpower points. Until they get attacked by a mind control vampire. Unless they had the very good idea to buy the merit " Mixed-morph (1 pt. or 5 pt. Merit) You find the art of partial transformation relatively easy, and make the required Dexterity + Primal Urge roll at difficulty 6 rather than difficulty 9 (p. 286). The five-point version of this Merit eliminates the need for a Willpower point; you can achieve partial transformation almost at will."

Just a quick note to say I am loving the actual play.
Everyone is developing their characters well. I also like the episodic feel that is coming through in the sessions.
