Sorry. I love Savage Worlds so much even the mere hint of it turns me into a spastic Daffy Duck. It's OK, I was just horsing around. Truth be told, Savage Worlds has always been a favorite of mine. I started playing it... I dunno, around 2005 or so? But its sudden explosion of popularity - and a few prominent members of the SW community - turned me off of it around the time I joined the HJRP cast. Recently I realized that I should just run what I like, regardless of who else runs it or whatever. Um... back to music... er... how about the malkavian that Skully kidnapped? He always reminded me of this song, if for no other reason that it makes no sense and I can't help but wonder "WTF were they thinking" when they recorded it:

I guess I like my characters to have a touch of tragedy to them, even the silly ones... another character I ran was a gnome cleric in Pathfinder. Now, Pathfinder gnomes are meant to be weird, flighty, somewhat silly folk. My gnome, Molly Dingle, was even moreso. She had a tenuous grip on reality even in her most lucid moments. Now, I never ran her insanity to the detriment of the group... she did the right things and was a effective cleric for a d20 game. It's just that in roleplaying situations she was the nutty comic relief who threw out non-sequiturs and surreal comments. The tragedy was that Molly knew she was not quite right in the head, but couldn't express it or explain it. She didn't want to be the wacky gnome who said nonsensical stuff and went on verbal and mental flights of fancy without warning. But something was just wrong and she couldn't help it. The songs I closely associated with her were See Emily Play by Pink Floyd, and Who Can It Be Now by Men At Work (specifically, the eerie acoustic version Colin Hay did as a solo project in 2003). EricaOdd, if Pink Floyd is your bag try: (Though I think it would only suit a certain type of game - like 'Slashers') Aaron

Big Pink Floyd fan, but as crazy awesome as that song is, it doesn't really fit Molly's peculiar type of crazy. Lol

Ween! Those wackos are from New Hope, PA which is about an hour south of me. New Hope is exactly the town that would spawn such an act.

I have a Character named Caerneth Nel that is an Iktotchi Bounty Hunter Assasin that I am currently playing in a Star Wars Edge of the Empire game. I have created a Youtube playlist of the type of music she would listen to. Caerneth's Playlist

I'm slowly assigning songs to NPCs for my L5R game... and a couple came to me pretty easily once I assigned pictures to them.
Firstly, there are a couple Crane, identical twin sisters (you can already see the shenanigans to come there...), one's a duelist and one's a bodyguard with Quick to make it even harder to tell them apart. For just their brashness and vibe since they love the drink and smoke ... they get Cherry Bomb by the Runaways.
The other guy is a combat sponge to flesh out the party, a Mantis budoka named Hisoji. His song is "Smoke Two Joints", the Richard Cheese version.
Definitely makes it easier to remember the character feels and decide what they do in situations.
