That fire mage is rad!! These look great! Well done. Thank you!! I had some trouble getting the camera to focus for some reason. I did an experiment on the fire mage, where I gave him a dark blue coat and then dry-brushed a tiny bit of lighter blue over it. I should try that again sometime.

I'm going to be starting to paint minis again. After a long long break. So what tips do you guys have for a newb? It all depends on what level you want. If you want quick and ok looking... buy some model paint like Vallejo and buy "Citadel shade Agrax Earthshade". Paint your mini, then wash it in shade. That will make it look completely playable. If you want to make it better and better its all about layers and highlighting. There are some great howto on youtube.
