Holy batshit, Ratman! I see Demigods listed under Happy Jack's. I'm gonna do everything in my power to get in on one of Jason's games.
And I just added a couple of my (not-yet-approved) games under the Happy Jack's banner. I hope y'all don't mind. I'm planning to run two sessions of Dread and two sessions of Gruel Truck.

So, with event registration opening up on Sunday, I thought that it might be a good idea to try to organize getting together before then, to help people schedule their events. I'll start with a tentative suggestion. How does Friday evening sound? Stu Venable Out of curiosity, are any of the HJ crew coming out to Indy this year? probablyok Is there any copy of your Demigod game floating around for public consumption/sale yet? I would love to get a look at some of it if I manage to snag one of the slots at Gencon.

After posting that I dug a little deeper in the Gen Con website - I didn't realize when the deadline actually was. I submitted most of my events after the deadline had passed, so I dunno if I'll actually get to run them. Officially, anyway.
My Dread game is very easily run as a shadow-con event - all we need is six people and a table for the Jenga tower. I can run that anywhere.

They accept events all the way up to a couple of weeks before the con, iirc. You might have only missed the cut off for preregistration.

Ok, I had to pre-register for two, because my friend is on vacation in FL right now. I got locked out of most of the games on the wishlist, but: Pathfinder 2nd edition playtest - Fri @ 2pm Starfinder - Sat @ 2pm Also, my buddy wanted Masks so he got into a Masks game at 10 am on Saturday. I think he really enjoyed Masks with jazzisblues at Orccon.

I am in for the Friday meetup. Also, Board Game Geek has a post about getting the most out of Gen Con. Since this is my first Gen Con, I will definitely be checking this guide out: Gen Con 2018 - Beginner Survival Guide

Friday meetup works for me! At which drinking establishment shall we meet, and do you suppose we should we make a reservation?

Stu and Bill chose the last one (Centerpoint Brewing Company, I think). I'd like some place that served cider as well, if possible. I haven't lived near Indy in years, so I have no idea what's good downtown.
We'd either need a reservation or pick a place that could fit around a dozen or so people easily.

The only time I've been to the Rathskeller was for the AEG party.... It was not....representative of their style from what I understand. ^.^
