Oh Hai!
So Amit Moshe set out to do something that combined the ideas of Fate, Lady Blackbird, and Apocalypse world into one sweet mesh to run all you fantastic urban fantasies in, and City of Mist is the final product. With the book (which has some freaking sweet art), you will learn about the rules, the world of the mist, and how to interact with it.
The book is great for telling stories of crazy origins, like the Fables books, or your own version of the Sandman comics. Characters have four major 'traits' that tell just how weird you are (think of them like Lady blackbird Traits). If you only have one that hits the mystical supernatural, then you're your typical spellslinger, mystic fighter, small time spell caster. Have 3 be weird and only have one 'human' one, and you're in the in the magical creature list - Zombie, Umbrella Spirit, Reincarnation of the River Thames, etc.
It's a 2d6+Tags system, with tags being what comes under the trait you are using for the scene, so you would be usually hitting +2 or even +4 for your rolls, but not all tags are positive to your actions. comes with an Apocalpypse list of moves as well.
Over all, fantastic medium, and I am just patiently waiting for my physical book to turn up!

Link here to the greatest Free Game you will ever play: www.onesevendesign.com/ladyblackbird/So to take ANY action in lady black bird, you have to select a trait, which gives you a dice to roll, and Tags beneath the traits to give you extra dice to roll. That simple. (also if you've never played Lady blackbird before, go play it now, it's godlike)
