This is a cool list, but I don't think I'd be using all the descriptors. Some of them are a little off. Like a lager. If I tell my players it's a lager, they'll have something in mind. Sure there might be SOME weirdness in a fantasy setting, but why would it be blue, or green?
If I wanted some strange descriptor that is far from the label, I probably wouldn't go with a term that will put an image in the players head. Instead, maybe something more general, like a "brew."
Or am I being too picky?

A lot of places that serve green beer on St. Patrick’s Day, so maybe it becomes an excuse to invoke a local holiday, so instead of just a weird descriptor you get a extra bit of color out of the moment. Sorry about the pun.

Good point. I hadn’t thought of it from that angle. Color me enlightened. (Never be sorry about the pun. )

"So… why is this 'Wedding Punch' drink you locals favor so red…?"
