Wow.... what a awesome episode. I loved everyone's intactions and choices. And reeally.... hearing Liliana say Sunny's name was amazing! So hoobuk... I have questions. How did you think it was going to go with the Ratking? Because I'm 100% it wasn't that!

So glad you liked it vyrrk! It was a very exciting episode for so many reasons! So, I thought... The team would follow the rats down to the Rat King. The team would kill the Rat King. The team would discover that Vladlena had summoned the Rat King to steal an artifact. The team would then chase Vladlena to the next assignment. Yeah, that didn't happen at all! I did not expect the Sunny Charm Charge. I did not expect the crazy magic fiasco. I did not think Vladlena would actually come back. I did not think Aelith would break a promise. I did not realize Sunny could exorcise demons through sheer positivity. So basically 90% of what I thought was going to happen went completely different! But this is one of the things I love best about running PbtA. I am often as surprised by my own NPCs' reactions as the players are.

Also, sorry I didn't see this till today! Thanks for responding at all. Honestly this whole show has been awesome. It has inspired me to try the system, oddly enough I'm running a MotW game tonight actually. Haha i will deeply miss this AP when it is done soon, but I'm sure I will enjoy the heck out of your next game as well.

Thank you both for saying so!
I'm kinda sad about it ending too! But I definitely need the break, and I'm excited to just be a PC for a while. (So much less pressure!) I'm hoping we might eventually do a season 2.
Glad you're playing MotW! I really think it's a fantastic game. Let us know how it went!

Glad you're playing MotW! I really think it's a fantastic game. Let us know how it went! So get this... I had a Otto Graph moment in my game last night! I kid you not! So the mystery was a in the MET museum in NY and it was going to be a mummy story. We start the adventure and I realize I hadn't named the victim! The players asked me, so I fell back on a old NPC I had used years ago. "Dr. Ferro" I say completely oblivious. FERRO! Sounds like freaking Pharaoh! My players all looked at each other and say together... "Well I guess its a Mummy we are fighting!" I'm such a idiot. All and all the game was good. My players at the end named it... "How I MET your Mummy". It was a good game.

I just finished this episode today. When the ball of energy first appeared I kept hoping it would turn into a little chimera baby and Aelith and Liliana would have to raise it together.
Also the Fez was perfect!!!
