Ok ya'll are getting me hooked here, so I went out to the MH site and downloaded the skins freebie. Here's how I'd create Lisa-Regina, the Girl with Kaleidoscope Eyes, if she were my actual character.
Backstory
Someone knows I am dead and how I died: Raphael, SirGuido's angel. As a spirit being himself, he has some special insight into her existence. He has 2 strings on me. You've been in someone's bedroom while they were sleeping: Robert, akavidar's witch. He tried a spirit summoning ritual, thought it failed, but I showed up. Late. As usual. Being dead for nearly 25 years makes it hard to get motivated... I have a string on him.
(Pending their approval, of course.)
Stats
Hot -1; Cold 2; Volatile -1; Dark 1 Lisa can be aloof and distant, since she knows she comes from a different time than the others. Were she still alive, she'd be 40! As a ghost she's mentally stuck in the mindset of the era in which she died, and it's difficult for her to adapt to the 90s.
Moves
Unresolved Trauma
Whenever something brings to mind your death, you choke up and gain the Condition traumatized if you don’t have it already. Whenever someone helps you resolve this Condition, you both mark experience.
Helpful Spirit
When you help someone resolve a Condition, gain a String on them.
Limitless
You can walk through walls and fly.

Downloading the skins has helped me understand a bit more about how ghosts work in the setting. (I did wonder how sex worked for an incorporeal being...) It seems that they are corporeal and visible unless and until they have the Limitless ability or become their Darkest Self. That makes sense, and makes them more playable. Since I chose the Limitless ability, it doesn't invalidate anything I've written about her so far.
Were she my actual character, my next choice was Helpful Spirit. I envision her as a caring soul. Free love, man. It's groovy! Peace!
And with that I've found her picture...

Obviously none of the character sheet stuff needs to be paid much attention to, it just helps me. Name: Selene Vale(Fae)BackstoryYou wear your heart on your sleeve. Give everyone one String. You’ve captured someone’s fancy. Raphael, SirGuido 's angel. Gain 2 Strings on them. StatsHot 2; Cold -1; Volatile -1; Dark 1 MovesFaery Contract: If someone breaks a promise or contract made to you, take a String on them. When spending a String to even out the score and get justice on a broken promise, add these options to Pulling Strings: 1. they fuck up something simple at a crucial moment, suffering 1 Harm if appropriate, 2. add 2 to your roll on an act of vengeance. Guide If you spend a String on someone willing, you can bring them across the veil, into the faery realm. The spell lasts for a scene or two, before you’re both returned to the mundane world. Maeve had it fairly good back in Loveland, Ohio. Nice life, good friends, a spot on the wrestling team, and plenty of woods to casually stroll through and enjoy at her leisure. Plus the weather was nice and temperate. Things were going great, til she took something that wasn't hers, and broke the promise she made in return. Then misfortune fell all around her and her family, forcing them to move out here. To Arizona. A punishment the king said. She could keep what she took, but the price had to be paid, and now she's here. No friends, terrible weather, and no spot on the wrestling team. But at least now she knows the power of a promise. Maeve does her best to be friendly to others, and has tried out for multiple activities and groups since arriving. Gone are her ballet lessons, so she settles for cheer leading and color guard. The biggest disappointment was that Carefree doesn't have a girls wrestling team, she tried out for the boys, only to be shot down.
