I was just mulling over how I do not have any ideas for how to run an intrigue centric game tomorrow for my buddies while I was viciously going through your backlog a second time. The episode just happened to then open up its topic on the parts of a conspiracy and the questions to answer and how to let it unfold. You guys work in magic mysterious ways Jackers. Thank you.
You also have altered my taste in RPG Podcasts making my once favorite podcasts seem dry and flavorless.
I am running a dead presidents game, where the characters are all dead presidents reanimated with thematic super powers. I can't remember what podcast I stole the idea from (probably HJ) but if you all have any other ideas to add, I'd love to hear them.

You stole that from Tyler. He's run the game twice at cons.

Do you remember which presidents he used? I'm thinking Taft, Teddy Rosevelt, Lincoln, and Nixon. Just having all of these presidents in the same room together is going to be half the fun.

JFK was in there too, as was FDR--I remember FDR being the "Professor X" of the group. Can't remember now what Kennedy's superpower was.

I thought FDR was the speedster. They called him "Wheels."

First game (in Wild Talents): Ronald "Sparky" Reagan - Electrokinetic Ulysses S. "The Quake" Grant - earthbender John Fitzgerald "Ghost" Kennedy - could fly, go intangible, and could heal Richard M. "Shadow Man" Nixon - shadow manipulation and limited teleportation Franklin Delano "Wheels" Roosevelt - speedster, confined to a standard wheelchair (moved his arms really fast) and Rutherford B. Hayes - telekinetic (Dammit Hayes!)
special appearance by Gerald "The Brick" Ford - resilience, super strength
Second game (in Savage Worlds): Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt - inexplicable bad-ass-ery Howard "The Wall" Taft - could bulk up, getting larger, stronger, more resilient Thomas "Jeffer-chu" Jefferson - pyrokinetic (I can't remember who the other two were...) and Rutherford "Bee" Hayes - psychic control over bees

Tyler: your next Dead Presidents game should feature Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, Kennedy, and either Reagan or William Henry Harrison & FDR. I know it's reusing some of them, but the first four were all killed by gunshot while in office, Reagan was shot and survived, and the last two died of illness while in office.
They're handler could be VP Aaron Burr.

I say use Grover Cleveland with multiplication powers where he can split into multiple guys, or make duplicates of himself.
He's the only US president to sit two nonconsecutive terms in office. 1881-1885 and then 1889 to 1893. And yes I am a history geek.

I thought FDR was the speedster. They called him "Wheels." Oh yes, you're right. I must have been mixing it up with something else.

And to a woman 23 years younger than him, at that (she was 21, he was 44). Translation: he was a total pimp. Or a cradle-robbing creeper. Take your pick.
