The reason Stu and Stork confused the gender of the Ork shaman is because most female names end on a vowel.
Ps. Still no witch burning, what's up with that?

Step three: Burn.

This episode seemed to be falling apart at the seams with player misunderstandings and miscommunications, but was filled with great RP and finished with scenes of great drama and much humor.
I have to wonder, though, is the magic system overpowered? The two vikings barely got to do anything during the action. Maybe magic damage and range should not be that easy to multiply.
Also, shouldn't there always be some chance of hitting and doing damage in combat if able to attack?

If Stu would act on the fact that people are afraid/hate magic users magic wouldn't be overpowered. This arc of the game is played more like dnd, no consequences for using magic. A mob with pitchforks can easily take out a mage.

Jeanne Marie at least acts like her magic is in answer to prayer, but the casual way Katiba has been slinging magic around should cause her some trouble. I think her future's so bright, her shades might melt.

I wonder, if she's bound and gagged, can she still do magic? Asking for a friend.

She use paper and inc as a flavor but that has been glossed over multiple times (no extra time for getting out paper and writing in combat and one more thing in episode 5) so I'm not sure if you can cast magic while bound and gaged. I don't think mages with fire affinity get any protection from fire, it wouldn't be in line with the rest of the game. If she had time before she can cast protection from fire but that doesn't last long. Gina's character pray as flavor when casting magic and a prayer would be a good way of getting a spell of before getting burned at the stakes.

If Gina's character can convince the inquisitors that SHE isn't doing magic, it just happens as an answer to her prayers, she could wriggle out of the fire.
