Howdy all, My best friend is wanting to run Pathfinder on an online tabletop. He is looking for players, as most of his friends that he asked haven't even responded. I will post more information about the setting and tabletop soon.

If you could also post the time and day of the week he wants to run that would be great.

The following is some setting information that he has provided.
A brief summary of The Empire and the World of Zoe Rule set will be Pathfinder. I prefer to roll stats, which is more difficult over the internet. Rolled stats would be 6D6 for each attribute, keep the highest 3. Attributes are locked in place with the ability to swap 2 sets *example swap Int with Wis and Str with Dex). Pathfinder SRD (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/) is a great online resource. All standard races and classes exist although the class of Wizard is restricted and would need specific approval from me prior to start due to the setting.
Centuries ago magic was a common thing. Many could use magic and those who could not were able to use devices made for them. Magic and research of the arcane was seen as the highest pursuit since nearly all other problems of mankind were conquered. There was no disease, hunger and while some were richer than others the ability to transmute materials made monetary matters rather mute. The masters of each sphere were known as the Primes and they ruled Zoe equally and fairly.
Eventually they hit a peak in their understanding of the world and in order to increase it they learned a from otherworldly beings about divinity. (Zoe never had any gods though apparently this was unique among the beings they summoned) A ritual was devised to claim divinity and was named The Convocation. Preparations began and eventually the day of completion arrived but something must have gone terribly wrong. The Primes disappeared and the world was torn asunder. Magic began to behave strangely as did all their devices. The world fell into a dark age.
Peace has reigned for nearly a decade since the last Orc invasion but that is all about to change.
This is where your journey would begin. Below is a brief summary of the main power on the continent that you would start on, The Empire.
Eventually one kingdom emerged victorious and it grew to what is now known as The Empire (Almost exclusively human). The Empire largely defeated their enemies because they figured out a way to make magic behave through a device known as The Bracelet. Bracelet connects a Sorcerer (Mages are extinct now) with a handler. All magic use must be through the Bracelet. People are tested regularly for ability and it is seen as a great honor to serve in either role. Though the Sorcerers are merely servants to the handlers will. Renegade magic users are hunted down by the Inquisition and mainly put to death but some are captured.
The Empire has an artifact, in the capital, that shows where and how far (bearing and range) and what strength a spell was cast. (There is no known distinction between divine and arcane) This enabled the Empire to quickly capture Sorcerers and turn the tables when fireballs would once again erupt over their enemies and not over one’s own troops or some other random effect. It also enables lighting fast response times to magical incidents based on severity. A level 1 spell of identify might get a single person out that way in a week while any magic battle would surely get half a dozen units teleporting in to neutralize the threat. The Empire is mainly benevolent with certain regions being better than others, as long as you don’t use magic.
They also tolerate other races but are especially wary of the Elves since they possess the only known divine magic (Druids) and are rumored to have their own Sorcerers not everyone believes that only 6 new sorcerers are made every year in their lands. A treaty demands that all magic users be sent to the Empire but as long as anyone can remember the number is always 6.
Buildings are largely medieval in style with certain areas, the capital, a shadow of the former glory that once graced the earth. Most of the land is forest, mountain or plains. (Terraforming occurred during the reign of the Primes) More details to be provided later.

No. not a typo. I specifically asked him. Yes high stats. Magic is pretty restricted. and starting level of 5. The exact time hasn't been set yet. Though he did tell me his prefers after 12 noon eastern time. I'm not sure how late he'd prefer to play.

I'm interested in playing if this is still in the works. Any idea what application or site he intends to use for the game?

Sorry for the long delay on the reply. He bought a lifetime account for iTabletop I believe it is called. So, he will be hosting through there. Everyone will have to make a guest account, but it costs nothing since he is hosting and is fully paid up. He is open to switching it to Google+ if the majority wish to game there instead. I will contact each of you with specifics about time and date within the next week.
