I'm excited. The two books I've read so far were good (not great, but it kept me reading). IMO, HERO is a perfect system for this series. GURPS comes in second, then Savage Worlds. Anyway, I'll be supporting their Kickstart once it's up and running.
Preferred Game Systems: anything that will get me called 'not a roleplayer' by Saelorn. Currently Playing: what are you running? Currently Running: Dungeon World with my kids. Favorite Species of Monkey: flying
let me know if they have a stretch goal for a Savage Worlds or FATE conversion
(mostly kidding) I enjoyed the first couple and just haven't talked myself into reading the MH: Alpha book or the MH: legion one.
I really enjoy the Grimnoir Chronicles though. I'd like to see the rpg of that one too.
hehe =>
It pains me to say this, but Savage Worlds would probably be a good choice. (Yup, I feel dirty now.) The system is easy to learn and easy to teach, which is an important factor when taking your first step away from D&D.
Gillsing: Interesting fact about a movie that put me to sleep the first two times I tried to watch it at RPG cons. The third time I managed to stay awake, and was disappointed. Everyone seemed to like it so much. But apparently it was not for me. Story of my life.
