An Update on Twilight Struggle for the PC, made by Ryan, one of my American players in Poland.
And I could not be more proud! GMTGames.com reports:
On a recent trip, I got to drop by the offices of Rivermyst Gaming, the guys who are doing the PC version of Twilight Struggle. In between conversations about all the details we need to finalize as we get into final testing and development stages, I got to spend some time playing their most current version of the game. Here are my big takeaways from that experience:
1. The AI is impressively good! I got to spend some time looking not only at how the AI plays on-screen, but also at the AI logic under the hood, and I came away very impressed. I played at the moderate AI level (I think it was level 3 out of 5 levels) and found that the AI was challenging, always looking to exploit my weaknesses, and playing a very intelligent game. Now I realize that some of you who are my friends might say that my skill level being what it is, an AI that is challenging to ME is really no big deal, but STILL :-), I have to say I was impressed with Ryan's understanding of strategy and tactics in the world of Twilight Struggle, and the skill with which he has built an AI that is a quality opponent. It's going to be interesting to see how it responds to the variety of skill levels of the test teams that we will be bringing in over the coming weeks, but I am very confident and pleased based on what I've seen so far.

Way to go, Ryan!
And see you back in Warsaw in October!
