A friend of mine sent me a little kit that he made for Christmas. It's an electronic die that can be set to all the classic types. (http://www.instructables.com/id/Build-an-electronic-polyhedral-die/)
The problem is that it didn't come with a box to mount (hee hee, I said "mount") the electronics into.
Now, lucky for me, I belong to my friendly neighborhood hackerspace and they let me use a LASER CUTTER. So I'm designing a case for my electronic die.
I want there to be some nice art on the box, but I lack art skills. Well... That's not true. But I'm never pleased with anything I draw.
THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN!
Submit some art to go onto my box (for the electronic die) and if I decide to use it I will cut something out for you on the laser cutter out of wood or acrylic (we have opaque white or clear) and mail it to you. (Or bring it to you if you're going to the next con in LA.) I assume people will want custom bennies but if you want something else we can work it out.
Sound good? I hope so, I really suck at drawing.

Oh yes... Also, the art should be B&W. Preferably line drawing, so that it will come out nicely with the laser cutter.

Well, I guess that didn't work. So if there are people who would like some custom made bennies or other little chit type things, but are not willing or able to provide box art, just let me know and we'll work it out. I want an excuse to practice with the equipment. The materials we have at the space to use with the cutter are very inexpensive (in some cases free if there's something good in the scrap pile). And just to show you an example... Here's a Doctor Who RPG "Story Point" I made... TARDIS "story point" by HitsHerMark, on Flickr

That is very cool. Wish I had the artsy talents to help.
