Just a couple of quick questions about the upcoming OrcCon 2013 and the Strategicon website for any Happy Jackers who might know: 1) Under " Events," I don't see any RPGs listed at all, but all the other categories seem to have at least a few? Just curious. 2) On the " Event Submission Form," what is the trick again for allowing all six player slots to be pre-regged? Used to be a post on this, but I think it was on the old forums. I think it was either "Max People In Event = 12" and "Players Per Game = 6"... or was it "Max People In Event = 6" and "Players Per Game = 12"? Just wanted to check - I'd really like to let all six slots pre-reg...but I also don't want 12 people showing up. Thanks!

The RPG Events haven't been added yet. I sent an email to those in charge of such things this past week, inquiring when we might possibly see such things, so fingers crossed... (By the by, I don't think they even have the info re: when the heck pre-reg is posted yet. Though guess I could've missed it.
I believe the ticket for the full pre-reg (6 people for a max 6-person game) was to enter 12 for the max players. The only problem I'd see for this is that this is what Mike F used to have us do. He'd then have to go in & change it back to 6 max before the con sign-up sheet dealio, so craziness did not ensue.
Lastly, may I assume from your inquiry that we're going to see GURPS: The Watriors at Orccon? If so, count me way hella in.

Ah, now I get it - I never did quite figure out why that hack would work, but now I see it's because someone on the other end would manually wiggle things. Which also makes me think it's probably a bad idea to do it now, since the new Power That Be is probably not going to do the same thing Mike did. Guess I'll just suck it up (I'm curious now if the board games are run the same way, only allowing half pre-reg's). It's mystifying to me why it's not just a simple matter to let all slots pre-reg -- in fact, that should be the default imo. But me, it is, as they say, what it is. Lastly, may I assume from your inquiry that we're going to see GURPS: The Watriors at Orccon? If so, count me way hella in. GURPS: GrimJack, actually. I think lol. Though I need to stop calling it that, since of course none of the PCs will actually be GrimJack. Probably "GURPS: Cynosure (GrimJack)" in the blurb -- yes, I think that conveys all the needed info in an economy of words. Thanks!

Everyone should know and love GrimJack My third-favorite comic of the '80s (behind X-Men and Spider-Man, of course).
