A lot of new forum members in the last month or so.
Welcome all.
Just curious -- are you guys mostly new listeners? Or just new to the forum?
And if you're new listeners, how did you hear about the show?

Well, in my case, I'm new to both. I found y'all on iTunes when you changed your feed. I had just caught up on all the episodes of the 2 real play podcasts I was listening to, and there was the Happy Jacks logo at the top of my iTunes page when I was looking for something new. I can't remember if it was under "new and noteworthy" or just listed as one of the top podcasts.
I must admit, I'm glad to be here!

I found the podcast by searching RPG podcasts on Google. Started listening from the start and have almost caught up with the current ones.
Got onto the forums after listening to you guys comment on the forum posts.

I bicycle commute and I need something to listen to. I had a number of educational cds from "The Teaching Company" that I converted to MP3 and listen to, but those ran out. I listen to "This American Life", "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me", "Its All Politics" and once in a while "Savage Lovecast", and I needed something else... I had about 1.5 commuting hours per week with nothing to listen to.
Out of the blue I decided I'd look for a podcast about roleplay games. I did some searches and this is one of the first hits. Your tagline "Pursuing the RPG hobby with reckless abandon... and beer" is what convinced me to give it a try. I first listened to something like season 9, epsidode 13 - "Conflict in RPGs". I thought the discussion was lively and thoughtful. I began playing D&D in 1976, and I guess I am in the same demographic as Stu, Stork, and Jib. I appreciated hearing a woman's voice also, I believe it was Gina in episode 9-13 and 9-14. I've watched a lot of nerdy videos on game design and game reviews and they are overwhelmingly male.
I've listened to a few other podcasts, but this one spoke to me. I listened to about 5 early episodes of another top-ranking podcast, and the discussion seemed much less thoughtful and had way too many references to their private in-jokes or campaigns--it seemed a bit masterbatory. Maybe I need to listen to some later episodes by that podcast, but I haven't been able to force myself to listen to more of it.
So overall, I am new to the forums because I am new to the podcast. Having a forum is a big draw to the podcast also, I don't know if I'd be interested in listening to the podcast as much without the opportunity to interact with other listeners and the hosts via the forums.

Found you through some other podcasts - think it was Fear the Boot. Must have been at least six months ago? Before the mowing and the washing.
Not new to the podcast - just new to the forums.
Happy to see some Dungeon World content here - really like that system.
Please come to GenCon it is AMAZING!!!!!

Hi, Well I'm new to the forum but not completely new to the show. I originally found your podcast mixed among my World of Warcraft podcast section in Stitcher. I love the show and you have gotten me itching to try table top RPGs. It's most likely going to have to be on G+ cuz i live in the middle of bum$%#^ Canada. I'm not sure where to get started yet, so that's why I joined the forums. Hoping I can get come help and maybe even get in on Jackercon 2013.
Peace, Lee
