So I've been interested in hearing when people listen to the podcast. I live about 35 to 40 minutes away from where I work so I listen in the car. I've heard from a lot of other listeners who listen while commuting but I was interested in what you do to find time in order to listen.
So, what do you do?
iKevin
P.S. I am interested in this as I teach and have part of the summer off and haven't been able to find a creative outlet in order to listen and do something else at the same time.

I usually listen at work; I work in a framing shop, so one of these days I'm going to lose a finger on the mitre saw while laughing at the show.

I generally listen while I'm either driving or supposed to be asleep. I like it best when I'm driving though, I can turn it up fairly loud and pretend they're in the car with me.

Clean Supermarket Floors and also wash windows, Listen all night to either podcasts, music, or audiobooks. Went through the backlog of podcast for this show in 3 months straight

I have a shorter commute now but used to listen on way to work and anytime I am on a long trip by myself. LOVE pulling into drive thrus, have the podcast playing out of the car speakers and someone say something loud and douche-like:)

As soon as the girlfriend gets home, in go the headphones.
OK, kidding. I usually listen at work. Specifically to drown out my boss's screeching phone conversations.

20 minute bicycle commute each way to and from work. I listen to Happy Jacks, This American Life, Wait-Wait Don't tell me, and once in a while, Savage Lovecast.

Juuuust... Listen while you work! *whistlewhistlewhistlewhistle*
I run a one-man, high-output print shop. I podcast to drown out the sound of monotony.

Usually listen while commuting (25-30 min) or doing stuff around the house. Try to listen if I'm lucky enough to waste some time online but find that my brain can't really function that way & end up backing up so I can make sure I hear all the stuffs.

I'm thinking my podcast consumption list goes 1) student job: sitting in the university archive sorting and cataloguing student files, which I do 10 hours a week in a subterranean room without windows. About 5-7 hours I'm alone there. At least I can laugh all I want. 2) travelling/transporation: on a bus, on the train, walking somewhere 3) household stuff like doing the dishes

I generally listen while biking to work or while doing work that doesn't require me to focus. Car trips are another time that I like to listen to podcasts, but usually my girlfriend nixes the idea. When she's asleep, however...
