Okay. I went through all the games listed on conplanner and made automated tweets that will go out with the hashtag #jackercon on Twitter 10 minutes before the games' start times. A question for Google+ veterans out there (if there are any): is there a way to list links to the hangout before the hangouts start? I've played with it, and the closest thing I see is to schedule an event. I would encourage everyone to join the Happy Jacks Community on Google+. I have a family health-related thing going on, and at a phone call I may have to drop everything, but barring that happening, I would like to host one or two round-tables on G+ on Saturday. I'm thinking around 3:30-4:30 and/or 7:30-8:30. As for topics, I have a couple of ideas. For the earlier one, I was thinking something like: "the things GMs should think about, but never do." As in elements of a game world we often hand-wave but things that add depth to the game. For the later one, I was thinking about discussing the experience different (and similarities) between over-the-table and G+ games. I will invite everyone who is a member of the Happy Jacks G+ community.

as far as I know you need to create an event to 'schedule' a hangout. Otherwise, it will get its link created when the moderator starts the hangout.
I did want to ask something though. How many GMs are going to be recording their hangouts via Hangouts on Air?
Oh, and Stu. I hope everything works out OK for your family issue.

I hope most games will be recorded. Someone mentioned something about post-mortems, which might be really interesting. Also, there's a few games that should be awesome that I can't make or were already full, so I'd love to listen to the recording.

Yeah I can create events for all those hoping to create a hangout on air. So are there any GMs/players that don't want their game on air?

I wonder if there's a plug in for the forum that would recognize times, the preferred time zone of the person writing it and translate it to local time for every viewer ...

eBay does it so it's possible. Whether ProBoards can?? Aaron Greg Munker was trying to track you down Aaron on G+ message boards. I shared your contact there with him. The roundtable discussions both straddle either gameslot 8&9 (12-4 & 4-8 pm) and gameslot 10(8-12). It might be entertaining for the GMs in those games (Me and Houdin in 8, Muntjack in 9 slot) and Hyvemynd (10 slot) to take 10-15 min from their respective slots to chime in the round table. Just a thought.

If I had any foresight, I would have asked you to leave gaps between the sessions for such a thing, but I didn't think of it.
But to answer your question, yes, but I'd feel bad if it interfered with your games.

And having been through this first conplanner set up I am becoming more aware of the problem of their being NO BREAKS between some games. Shit! If every slot had been filled it would have been just crazy.
I think I envisioned more players and the danger of one games group being needed in the next didn't seem a problem. Now? Yikes.
I'm glad to take :15-20 out of my game to let the players take part in the roundtable.
The biggest problem with virtual cons we don't all get to hangout in a bar before/after/DURING the con. Drinkin' at home sittin at the computer...(country song there somewhere).

At work but will try and link him google drive stuff and unlock password. The G+ app is slick but a bitch to navigate. Not intuitive at all or my brain is just wired the wrong way from the target demographic (whereas, shitfull though it can be, I can navigate FB easily). Aaron
