Something is Missing in GURPS

Yep, I said it. The game I cherish and love since 1992 miss something under its hoods and the folks on the SJG forum even acknowledged that fact. One ability often found in science-fiction and superheroes genre, one I just stumble upon right now a I prep my next game.
I'm talking about the Universal Translator/Gift of Tongues/Comprehend Languages type ability!
Okay, it's not so bad since we can build this ability with the guideline in the basic set but I am still in shock to discover that my favorite game doesn't have it (although game like HERO and Mutants & Masterminds have it). Searching to build this new advantage I comtemplated several options:
a) Taking the Gift of Tongues spell in GURPS Magic and make it a knack... but ah shoe they don't allow that anymore in 4E.
b) Taking Modular Abilities in GURPS Powers (as suggested by RPK on the SJG forum) and add: Language Talent [10] + Modular Abilities (Cosmic, 4 points; Languages Only, -20%) [32]. Total: 42 points.
c) After chewing on this for a while I've decided that I prefer an approach based on the Telecommunication advantage since Telepathy, Radio and other non human means of communication are based on that. My favorite build goes like this:
Universal Translator/Gift of Tongues: Telecommunication (Telesend; Accessibility: Only when Speaking or Listening, -30%; Universal, +50%) [36].
The ability doesn't work with thoughts, light signals, radio-frequencies, hand gestures... just the natural voice and normal speech. So it doesn't have a long range unless you also take the Penetrating Voice advantage. It's universal so basically it has the same effect of having your thoughts translate into the mind of your target and vice-versa.
And yes... you can upload THAT to the server.
