Holy shit.
I've never seen a kickstarter with so much activity that I can watch the web page and watch the number of backers climb.

Tell me about it!
I'm sitting here and the KS updates are coming in almost faster than I can read the emails.
Someone prepped all these emails in advance and put them in a drafts folder or something.

Got in on the third wave. Got around three updates in the hour or so that I was able to watch it... Gonna be interesting.

This is crazy. I ordered some as well, even though I haven't opened my last batch, let alone painted any. Anyone wanna paint some minis for me?

As a guy from the UK the shipping on this is a real bummer. However, I spent $800ish on the first one and got shipping for $25 so...meh. I guess I will get decent shippage across both.
For me the minis in this second one are not half as appealing. I still want them ALL. but the first bones had the crowdpleasers. I may be on my own wanting them to stop doing dragons too. I have like 15 now.

It's awesome if you live in the US. But I think the price nearly doubles, if you order from germany because of shipping and customs. But I also don't like the idea of buying something now, and receiving it a year later. If I spend money I want an immediate effect. Thats why I don't preorder videogames (also the games might turn out shitty). If I buy something I want...WANT.... it.......KNOW!!! *insane gibberish* ;P

I think this is the most I've spent on a KS project. It's just SO MUCH FUC KIN MINIATURES! Especially now with all the additions to the core from the stretch goals. I've been painting these little white beasts for a few months now, and I like them as much as the metal ones.
Hoping for more of you fools to contribute so I can get those under-the-sea ones for my "little mermaid" campaign.

How long did the first bones 'starter take to ship from funding date?
Also - I never really understand whether some of these kickstarters are one-off projects, or you know - KICKSTARTing something that will be available on an ongoing basis.
December 2014 is quite a bit of lead-time from ponying cash to receiving goods. I have never made a pre-order as early as that - probably never will.
Does Reaper sell series one still?

The Bones kickstarters are to fund buying the molds. As I am given to understand, the molds are kinda pricey, but the mini's you get from them are dirt cheap. So... These are all models that they would eventually offer, regardless... The kickstarters were done to accelerate the process. These allowed them to get them up and running quickly, rather than stretching it out over a LONG period of time.
