While I was preping for one of my games, I thought it would be nice to have a sheet that had information on it for the towns in the world. So I made some and thought, "you know what would be neat?" "No I don't self. What would be neat?" "What if I put them on the HappyJacks forum to be critqued." So here they are: www.dropbox.com/s/3sbnonzq6fk46w1/Blackpine.pdfwww.dropbox.com/s/xn7zzrvhukbbd3i/Mewich.pdfNow forgive me as I am still new to posting on the forum so if these dont work please let me know. Thanks!

That is super thorough and I really love the layout. For major locations I would definitely use something like that for crunchier systems. I like it!!

These are really nice and quite concise. Really liked the quick character web given for the guild leaders.
Something that has helped add variety without a lot of extra work in my game is giving sellers and services two ratings: quality and price.
That way NPCs can give brief flavor like "The Red Guantlet tavern has great food for cheap" if their price is low and value high or if a merchant is high on price and quality, the players might find just that special something from their wishlist... at half again the price they expected.
My girlfriend loves to know what food is being served at the tavern so I make sure I can say "The Red Guantlet has delicious lamb. The rice it's served on is stale, but the potent arak distracts you from that." As a player, I want to know details about clothes. I had a player that wanted to know the perceived wealth level of every NPC's dwelling. So be prepared to add random factoids if you have a player with specialized interests.

Those are really good tips I will amend them to have those. Thanks.

I assume the "gold on hand" is how much they have to buy items? If so, perhaps you should also add a cap for total price for any item on hand as listed in the core book. For example the blacksmith "Cap: 375 gold", meaning he never has anything to sell worth more than 375 gold. Otherwise I think they look amazing.

There is book by Troll Lords - I'm at work at the moment and the name eludes me in my dotage - that is basically lists of random period related fluff for giving you world more depth on the fly : as per heavymetaljess's observation. Aaron
