Hello everyone! I've been talking a lot to D.T. Pints lately about videos and making stuff for games (mostly online, but I suppose face-to-face games could benefit too) and I've found a whole mess of creative commons stuff to use for things. I've found sound samples including atmosphere loops and ambient stuff, stock video footage, all sorts of things! Since some people said they want a list of free stuff, I made a googly spreadsheet right here. Right now it's set to specific people for editing access, google assures me it is still visible to everyone. If it isn't, I'll change things, but yeah. What I'm thinking of doing is making a little form once I've got more of my stuff populated into it, so if you just want like... I dunno, the sound of a chair breaking, you can type in "show me audio sound effects" and it will filter out the video stuff and the still frame art. Oh, also, if you want to add something to it go here and fill it out! Hooray super easy!

Though I have yet to finish it, I'm making a short "video handout" for Forresst's Traveller game and it definitely got me thinking about utilizing the community for a "now for something completely different" moment. This could not only be utilized in a sci-fi game. But perhaps when the PCs in my Desert King campaign hear a speech belted out by some mad, drug crazed, plane hopping airship captain, from the deck of his Praetorian Class ship The I.M.S. Hatybosa Shaitan(Kiss of the Devil), and that aforementioned insane elven sorcerer/captain speaks with what might be discerned as an australian accent with a slight manchester lilt...well the world will just be all the better for it.

I thought of something similar DT! How about the cleric having a vision of a message from his god in a standard d&d style setting? You could TOTALLY do that super well.

Not sure how we can add to your file so I am uploading a couple of things here. Feel free to add them to your list. I had prepared these for a Rogue Trader game so they are pretty specific but anyone should feel free to use them/alter them or present them as props or whatever. It is basically a Crew Manifest of important members of the Crew and some not so important that I gave the Seneschal PC, the Charter that the Rogue Trader had, the Warpmap the Navigator PC had and lastly a 'breakdown of authority' that existed on the ship given that it was an ancient (almost) cruiser that had used a Medieval format of governance. There were a couple more but I cant find them now... The PCs were the court of the new Rogue Trader that came to take over the ship after the father of the current Rogue Trader died of disease. The PCs were a Rogue Trader, a former Commissar turned Senescal, a freak psycher Navigator and a Tech-Priest Science officer. The ship itself was the Cruiser 'Traba Deficium' (aka Fail Boat) with its Tenebro Maze, Lance Batteries and even DeathCult assassins defences. Ah... good times. Edit: Unfortunately cant upload the warpmap as the file is far too big. Edit2: Also, the warrant turned... small somehow so I am adding it zipped.

Hmm. I will have to find a way to make a warehouse for this kind of thing too, thanks!
