Has anyone had experience with a G+ play by post game?
It seems like you could just start a private community for the game and perhaps (if possible) get some hangouts together as time goes on. Maybe also do some hangouts for character creation / worldbuilding / secret plotting vs the rest of the party, etc.

Absolutely. But I haven't seen it done yet...my new dark age moment of truth game does some of that but i want the PbP to be enmeshed with actual google hangout sessions.

All the games I'm in have G+ community pages, in which there is usually some sporadic in-character posting. Usually we play in actual hangouts, but the community posts add a nice extra.
