OK, finished season one. And I think you want to mash Cortex Plus Dramatic (Smallville) with Firefly/Action (or instead of Firefly, use Leverage /Action) Google Smallville and I think you'll find an illicit PDF of these out of print rules... Then buy the Cortex Plus Hackers Guide to assuage your guilt.

The first season is significantly better than the rest of the series, when the Hamlet inspiration was more focused and plot-lines hadn't exploded. You're missing a few pretty impactful moments down the line if you stop there, but I don't know if they're worth muscling through a lot of the garbage.
