There are only a handful of groups posted/forming each month that I thought it best to leave the genre open to those players who are open to joining a new group at this time. I am the GM. I am planing an online group starting up in 2 weeks or so. The system is GURPS, but players do not have to know the system. Emphasis will be on role playing, PC <> PC and PC <> NPC interactions and problem/plot/mystery/puzzle solving. Combat will occur, but it is not the dominant theme.
I am pretty much open to any genre. I have been kicking around an idea for a modern day/world jumping/mixed genre similar to sliders. I have a campaign mostly ready to go based on 'The Venture Bros' cartoon. One thing about this genre, is that it is perfect for online gaming. It is probably a good idea to have watched a few of the episodes if we play that campaign. "The Lepidopterists" would be the quintessential episode to watch. And I have a whole background world set in a fantasy setting similar to D&D called, "The Seven Kingdoms". It takes place around a grouping of lakes. I have also done 'Space Opera' and 'Call of Cthulhu'. And a one-shot 'Paranoia' or 'Portal' style adventure may be a good starter, if folks would prefer to engage in a one-shot prior to committing to a regular group campaign.
I am nearish to the city of Pittsburgh. So I am in the EST. I can GM pretty much any day week day from 4PM on. Sundays are out. Saturday is possible but conflicts may arise.
If you are interested, send me a PM or post in the thread.
