Sad to learn this news. I've been watching lots of documentaries connected to my writing and always pause to watch the "In Search Of...." series; a series that seems indelible to my young teenage AD&D1e days as the original Star Trek was to my late mornings of Saturday TV. A feeling of nostalgia sweeps me as I remember him as an actor, a writer, a photographer and a man not afraid to sing his own song and take risks – the kind of person I would invite to my table. amzn.to/1JVJmLq Iconic, talented but above all else a really good person. You felt it in his presence and in how he interacted with his fans – writes on agent on Twitter. The world is never so full that it could not use another such person. I feel a little farther away from home now.

Just watched the Voyage Home with my wife who had never seen it. "What a sweet and kind story to have for a con game." Of them all ST IV probably has the simplest and engaging story line (especially for a young audience). Each character gets their moment to shine its not ALL about Kirk. Even Uhura gets to decode the initial probe message although Spock comes up with the actual species. Being rather fond of the sea as I am it will always hold a special place in my heart. Aaaaand I just realized the "Cetacean Institute" is none other than the Monterey Bay Aquarium . One of the holy places on the earth in my opinion. Thanks Leonard! Honestly that movie was one of the great inspirations that lead me to be able to do this...
