Hi.
I'm slowly wading over to the deep end of the rpg pool, where the online games reside.
Do anyone have any tips of how you - as a gm - can show pictures (like maps) for the players? Except the obvious 'hold it up in front of the camera'.
In the best of worlds, I would like to have something you can draw on in realtime - for when yo want to show the shifting tides of a combat for example - but that is perhaps not possible.
I'm currently experimenting with google hangouts, but can try other vendors.

Roll20.net works great with Google hangouts and has both dice roller and a place to post digital maps.
It is quite easy to use.
Om du vill kan jag visa dig hur det fungerar någon kväll.

I've also used a shared google doc/drawing in my online games, but Roll20 brings a lot more to the table, granted with an increased cost in end user requirements. Some older PCs/laptops have trouble with it.

Thanks for the tips. I'll already started to use Roll20, and it seems good so far. :-)
