Is anybody else participating in the 200 word RPG challenge over on G+? I know tomes has submitted a game ( WE ARE CADAVRE EXQUIS) and I've just posted my own last minute entry ( Tower Fall). Be interesting to see what other Jackers have come up with.

Holy shit, some of the entries are uber creative. If you go to the G+ community's Share Your Game section, you can view a sampling of some of the entries. This is one of my favorites (from Brian McKitrick):

Wow, that's amazingly well written though it reminds me a lot of the Once upon a time card game.

So the final tally came to around 400 entries which is rather amazing, hopefully I'll get a chance to look through them at some point.
Also need to finish my 200 word supplement for Tower Fall to add a few things I couldn't fit in the original word limit.

This is awesome! I found it too late to submit, though... I'm going through the submissions from last year. The game with rules written in symbols is pretty sweet.

The Finalists were announced. Some of these are just superb. schirduans.com/david/2016/04/200-word-rpg-finalists.htmlSome of the ones I really like: “HEAVY METAL WIZARD SORCERORS” by Alessandro Dellamotta “Drink Tea. Forget.” by M. Quintanilla (you could just as easily play it with booze and at night for a change of pace) “Stardust” by Daniel Adams “Time Travel Thaw” by Armand Kossayan “A GM’s Guide to Session Prep and Play” by Ole Peder Giæver

While there's a lot of good stuff there's also some rubbish. Omelette Quest for example is just a write up of a children's game, while the descriptors after different the rules are almost exactly what I remember then being as a kid.
With the 200 word limit they also really skew towards narrative framing. There's more than a few that I personally wouldn't have called games but that's my preferences showing more than anything.

I finally got around to taking my 200 word RPG and expanding it into something a bit more complete. It's still a micro RPG in that it comes to only a single page but it now feels like I've been able to include the elements I couldn't in the original submission. If anybody is interested in taking a look (or even providing feedback) it's available for download here: lunarshadowrpg.wordpress.com/2016/05/11/towerfall-micro-rpg/
