OK so after playing a bit of Faery's Tales here and there, I think it is time to upgrade the ten year olds to Savage Worlds.
Since Savage Worlds does a lot though I am having choice paralysis. Do I make them Harry Potter-esque wizards? Do I make them superheroes? Do I use a Star Wars hack that I have used for grown ups? If I use one of these, what sort of game should I run with it?
Any suggestions from the peanut gallery? Just keep in mind I am committed to Savage Worlds due to my familiarity with the system and ease of prep.

Savage Worlds seems as good as system as any, especially given your familiarity with it. Your Star Wars hack will easy them into a world they!ll have some familiarity with, so I'd do with that.
Unless they are looking for some old school D&D style fantasy of course

I introduced my son as well as all my nieces and nephews to RPGs via Savage Worlds. I chose to crank it to 11 with them and they decided what they wanted to play. Then I created the world around that. It ended up being like an 80s cartoon with a rag tag bunch of super powered heroes saving the day from random evil aliens, crazy cultists, ect. Kids Characters: 1) Ben 10 type, with an omnitex that turned him into an alien, that could fly and shoot lightning 2) Zane the android Ninjago ninja 3) a water bender from the last airbender named River 4) a power armor pilot with crazy repair skills and customized armor ( umm Iron Man/war machine ) 5) A Cheshire like Ninja girl with a katana and throwing stars 6) A CIA spook with sniper skills 7) A Knight with a mystically summoned horse, and a sword that can cut through cars
Basically I build everything from the SPC and let them cut loose. They had a blast. I've run them through numerous games in SW since then, pulp, fantasy, sci-fi,one shots, but they always come back to that one. The key to the kids game is try not to be too much of an adult when running the game. Let them be 10, let them be silly, award them bennys for it and see where it takes you.

Beautiful isn't it? You could even go as far as Biker Mice from Mars too if you want to roll further down the rabbit hole.

Yeah, my thought is ask the kids what they want to play, and play that. That way you don't even have to make it up, they will tell you ALL ABOUT IT. It's the easiest.

They want to be:
A fairy A princess Batman or Deadpool A wizard like Harry Potter
I am thinking of making them all Lego characters...since they all like Legos.

Yeahhh, I think Savage Rifts may be the game I use to introduce my son to RPGs. He's a huge fan of all things Lego, and he loves Harry Potter, Pokemon and superheroes. Rifts will be right up his alley.
