I'm surprised it took them this long! Has anyone picked it up? I took a look at the preview. The rules there actually look pretty interesting, like separating pain and injury and their impacts on skills. I often like reading how GURPS authors model stuff with rules, even if they go into a level of detail I don't want to use. Whadya think they'll write next? GURPS Trauma Surgeon? GURPS Mundane Items? GURPS Forensic Accounting? GURPS Deciduous Rainforests? I saw a funny image of spoof GURPS books at one point (including GURPS Celery, if I recall correctly), but I've lost track of it. I think G.I. Joe shared it with me...

The canny warrior knows that grappling is fundamental to fighting. Anyone remember when Brienne of Tarth Fights Ser Loras? She yanks him out of the saddle, the two go down in the mud, and she submits him with a dagger (to the throat as I remember). When was the last time that happened in your D&D game? All hail the grapple!

I love grappling, but looking at the preview gave me stomach pains.
I miss the time when GURPS actually released fun setting books instead of just niche rules.

That's the one. GURPS Asparagus. Though it has more real books in the image than I remember...
