Radiolab is a podcast that covers a lot of science type topics. Everything from their latest update on the big brother eye in the sky to forests acting as a kind of giant brain. If you are running anything from a pulp to sci-fi, there are some cool ideas on there to steal. In particular I can recommend a show called nine volt nirvana, which dealt with increased learning capacity through electrical stimulation of the brain. Sounds like just the sort of super science you might find in a WWII Pulp game featuring super soldiers and Nazi Mad Scientists. Give them a check out and see if you like it. They also do a show called More Perfect, which is still fairly new. That show deals with the US Supreme Court. Maybe not so many game ideas, but a cool bit of history. Stu Venable this seemed like just the sort of thing that would be good fodder for your Vast Dominions setting, you should give radiolab a listen if you have the time.

Been listening for years. It's great, if not a bit dry. Also try THE SKEPTICS GUIDE TO THE UNIVERSE.

I also really enjoy Radiolab. I hadn't thought to use the material as inspiration, but I'll have to keep that in mind the next time I listen. Cool idea!
