Hey All,
Great show as usual. I just wanted to note something about Ritual castings in Savage Worlds..... Another option that works really well, it to use the Ritual Casting Rules they have created in the Horror Companion. They basically take the SWD dramatic tasks and add in additional options/modifiers based on performing it as a ritual. Increased Damage, Range, casting time, ect. You can also have others help you using things like Kn: Occult ala chanters. Anyway we have used it a couple times already in a campaign we are running and it worked out really well to give that ritual feel.

I was yelling that in the chat room while they were discussing the topic. That's right. I, a well known Savage Worlds opponent, was actually suggesting a Savage Worlds title. Hell has frozen over. Heh. Seriously though, I found the Horror Companion to be full of great setting ideas and rules tweaks that really create a horrific tone to an otherwise over the top pulpy game. It and the Beasts & Barbarians setting book are the only titles I yet found that make me want to play Savage Worlds.

I am a fan of using unusual/rare components for rituals. They add flavor, keep rituals from becoming overpowered, and can be used to create storyhooks.

I've read over the HC a couple times already, and I like just about everything they threw in there. And as an added bonus, I might finally be able to drag my Daughter into the game ( She is 14 and too cool to play), since now she can play a vampire (yeah she is a bit twilight fan, although I told her it would be more like Vampire Diaries). So who knows the HC just might make an RPer out of my daughter yet!

About the Douchebag title: I could be wrong, but I kinda remember a very early episode where you guys called someone a douchebag. (The email author, maybe?) An offended email response followed shortly thereafter, and you had to explain how you refer to yourselves as douchebags.
Or am I totally mis-remembering this?
In other news Tappy, the Maine wilderness is where Steven King likes to play. Fuckin'-A right it's scary out there. You're lucky your methman didn't turn out to be fuckin' Pennywise...

Actually, I remember the douchebag stuff being the blurb after the episode where the bro rape stuff came up and "douchebag" was being used liberally. The part in question was something like "You you want to write in with a question, comment, or to just call us douchebags..."
