I would say it's fine to wait till next year to pick up the switch if you can wait.
The library is very limited right now, and many cartriges are out of stock in stores.
I Am Setsuna is ok I guess, but I can get that for cheap on PC. The big ticket games like mario kart, mario odyssey, and who knows what else are all later this year and beyond.
Right now you have Zelda and Bomberman. Not much else worth speaking about really.

Almost certainly fake, because the Switch screen is 720P, insufficient for VR resolution... but you never know. This might be Virtual Boy 2! You mean it might give thousands of kids splitting headaches?

You mean it might give thousands of kids splitting headaches? Sure; though the 3DS is apparently pretty good at that too, with its lenticular 3D display. Every kid I know has it turned off.

I have to admit that the Switch gives a cool impression, but I have been disappointed by Nintendo so many times that I'm not going to buy it.
Breath of the Wild looks awesome - and I like how it tries to be more like the very first Zelda game (and a little like Dark Souls) - but I'm going to play it on my poor WiiU instead.

I've had the switch for three weeks now and have enjoyed playing Zelda, thus far. There's no reason to get one now. Not even Zelda. That would have been a day one thing. At this point, it'd be great to wait for a price drop and maybe even a system upgrade.

If you've already got a WiiU, there is no reason to buy a Switch. There are some framerate hits, apparently, but that's about the only difference.
