Hey fellas. Does anyone have any suggestions for a pbta game that can be hacked into a X-Men/Heroes/Push/Jumper scenario? I'm trying to find something that can put an emphasis on normal people coming to terms with extraordinary powers. The closest fit I've found so far City of Mist, but are there any others out there?

Worlds in Peril, With Great Power, or Masks might work wmk. They're all superhero games, but you might be able to reskin the powers into psychic stuff. The latter two are more about drama than straight up ass kicking though. Depending on that the characters do in the game, Monster of the Week might work for your needs as well.

Mask and Worlds in Peril seems like good places to start. I like Worlds in Perils approach to discovering what powers can do and Masks more human approach to attributes. Gonna see if I can marry the two, Thanks for the suggestions!

Depending on how familiar you are with PbtA stuff, I'd recommend playing the games as is first. That's my advice for any game actually, regardless of system. Play the game rules as written a few times before you start taking a hatchet to it.
